Two-Factor Authentication


Overview

This section will help you understand how to configure Two-Factor Authentication or how to increase the security while logging into CustomerSuccessBox

Who is this for?

This article is primarily for each user logging into CustomerSuccessBox, it can be CSM(s), Super Managers or Admins.

Configuring Two-Factor Authentication in CustomerSuccessBox - 

Two factor authentication (2FA) strengthens access security by requiring two methods (also referred to as factors) to verify your identity. Two factor authentication protects against phishing, social engineering and password brute force attacks and secures your logins from attackers exploiting weak or stolen credentials.

Kindly follow the steps to enable Two-Factor Authentication in CS Box -

1. Click on your Profile and select Two-Factor Authentication as shown in the image   below -


2. Choose to Generate Secret Key to Enable 2FA.

3. Open up your Authenticator app and scan the following QR barcode as shown in the window after Generate one for yourself. 





After successfully entering the Code generated on your Authenticator app, click on Enable 2FA.

You are done now. Every time you login into the CS Box application, you will be required to enter the code from the Authenticator application for Two-Factor Authentication.

  1.  Initiate a chat directly from within your CustomerSuccessBox. Use the Chat option from the Chat icon in the left-side navigation bar.
