Daily Active Users (DAU)

Daily Active Users (DAU)

Is the number of Unique Users who Logged in on that day across an Account.

The Daily Active Users parameter can be used in defining:

Good Health:

For eg. Daily Active Users must be greater than [15] in last [3] Days.

This would mean the there needs to be more than 15 unique users who logged in once on each individual day of the past 3 days

In case the number of unique logins fell to lesser than 15 on even one day of the past 3 days, the account will not be shown as Good Health. Note that this includes the weekends as well.

Poor Health:

For eg. Daily Active Users must be lesser than  [10] in last [14] Days.

This would mean the there needs to be less than 10 unique users who logged in once on each individual day of the past 14 days

In case the number of unique logins increased to greater than 14 on even one day of the past 14 days, the account will not be shown as Good Health.

NOTE:

In most B2B SaaS companies, there is minimal/zero usage on the weekends and hence the DAU drops drastically. For this reason, we strongly recommend you to not use DAU as a metric in Health Configuration.

In place of DAU, you may use the License Utilization as metric to calculate Product Adoption Health
